Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by mincing garlic and ginger, slicing green onions, and cooking your rice.
- Sauté the garlic and ginger in sesame oil for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Cook the ground beef in the skillet, breaking it up until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add soy sauce and brown sugar to the beef, mixing well and cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- Adjust seasonings as necessary, adding more sugar or soy sauce to taste.
- Serve the beef mixture over rice and top with sliced green onions.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add gochujang instead of red pepper flakes. This dish can be customized with vegetables or served with lime and sesame seeds.
