Ingredients

  • 2 cups full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup pasta sauce (marinara or pizza sauce)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup mixed pizza toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking oil or butter.
  3. Mix the cottage cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, and eggs in a large bowl. Add garlic powder and oregano and mix well.
  4. Spread half of the pasta sauce at the bottom of the prepared dish.
  5. Spoon the cottage cheese mixture on top and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the mixed pizza toppings across the top.
  7. Drizzle the remaining pasta sauce over the toppings and finish with the reserved mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For serving, slice into squares and garnish with fresh basil. Pair with a simple side salad or slices of crusty bread.
