Description

A simple and flavor-packed casserole that combines tender chicken, gooey cheese, and zesty marinara sauce for a delicious weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Gather all your ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Combine the cooked pasta and shredded chicken in the mixing bowl.
  4. Add the marinara sauce and stir until well coated.
  5. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes near the end of baking. Can be prepared ahead and stored in the fridge.
