- 1 (9-inch) Frozen Pie Crust (baked)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 ½ cups Water
- ¼ cup Cornstarch
- 1 lb Strawberries (sliced)
- 1 (3 oz) pkg Strawberry Jello
Instructions
- Prepare the crust by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) if unbaked. Follow package instructions for baking if necessary. Let cool.
- Make the filling by combining 1 cup sugar, 1 ½ cups water, and ¼ cup cornstarch in a saucepan. Stir constantly over medium heat until thickened, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add the strawberry Jello to the thickened mixture and mix until dissolved. Gently fold in sliced strawberries.
- Assemble the pie by pouring the strawberry filling into the cooled pie crust. Spread evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until set.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
