- 1 pint Fresh Strawberries
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1 Small Box of Jello
- 3 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 Graham Cracker Crust
- Cool Whip (Topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries: Rinse, hull, and slice the strawberries. Set aside.
- Make the syrup: Combine water, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan and stir over medium heat until bubbly. Cook for about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the jello: Remove the syrup from the heat, let cool for 5 minutes, then stir in the jello until dissolved.
- Combine with strawberries: Fold the sliced strawberries into the syrup mixture until well-coated.
- Fill the crust: Spoon the strawberry mixture into the graham cracker crust and spread evenly. Chill the pie for 2-3 hours until set.
- Top it off: Before serving, add Cool Whip or whipped cream on top and garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.
- Slice and serve chilled for a delightful dessert experience.
Notes
For added flavor, experiment with different jello flavors or add lemon zest to the filling.
