Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Raw Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 ribs Celery, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons Red Onion, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Dill, chopped
  • 1½ tablespoons Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon Salt (to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly ground

  1. Cook the shrimp: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add the shrimp, and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. Prep your veggies: Chop celery, red onion, and dill, ensuring everything is finely diced.
  3. Make the dressing: In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper; stir until blended.
  4. Combine: Add cooled shrimp, diced celery, red onion, and dill to the dressing, gently folding to combine.
  5. Let it chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Taste again: Adjust salt and pepper if necessary before serving.

Notes

Serve cold; garnish with fresh dill and lemon slice for presentation.
