Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray or butter and dust it with flour.
  3. Mix dry ingredients: combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  4. Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, incorporating fully; then pour in vanilla extract.
  6. Combine wet and dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk, and mix just until combined.
  7. Fold in chopped peaches gently.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes
