- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups fresh peaches, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×5 inch loaf pan by greasing it with cooking spray or butter and dusting it with flour.
- Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture, alternating with the buttermilk.
- Fold in the chopped peaches gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Notes
