Delicious Peaches and Cream Crumble Bars that blend sweet, creamy, and crunchy flavors in a delightful dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups (350 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup (140 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups (280 g) cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) brown sugar
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar (for peach filling)
  • 1/4 cup (35 g) all-purpose flour (for peach filling)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5 cups pitted, peeled, and chopped peaches (about 78 peaches)
  • 6 tablespoons (90 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Combine the flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add the cold butter cubes and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Reserve about 1 ½ cups of the mixture for the topping.
  5. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake the crust for 12-15 minutes or until it starts to turn golden.
  7. Combine chopped peaches, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour, cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl. Toss gently.
  8. Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract (if using) to the peach mixture.
  9. Layer the peach mixture evenly over the crust.
  10. Sprinkle the reserved crumble topping over the peach layer.
  11. Bake again for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and filling is bubbling.
  12. Cool the bars for 20-30 minutes before cutting.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle with cream. Can also be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
