- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Gather two mixing bowls. In a larger bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and pumpkin pie spice in a separate bowl. Gradually incorporate this dry mix into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the cobbler batter into a greased baking dish (8″x8″ or similar size).
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the top of the batter, optionally adding the chopped nuts.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
