- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pie crust
- 1 additional pie crust (for lattice top, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your peaches by peeling and slicing them. Blanching can help in peeling.
- Mix the sliced peaches with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice, then let sit.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out your bottom crust and fit it to your pie pan.
- Pour in the peach mixture and dot with butter.
- Create a lattice top or cover with a full crust, making slits for steam escape.
- Crimp the edges and brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before serving.
