Ingredients

- 1 cup browned butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup M&M’s
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Mix the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl.
- Add eggs one at a time and then stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then add it to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips, M&M’s, and nuts (if using).
- Scoop generous portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges are just set.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
