Description

Delicious Monster Cookies packed with chocolate chips, M&M’s, and a chewy texture, perfect for celebrating Independence Day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup browned butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup M&M’s
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown.
  3. Mix the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla.
  5. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips, M&M’s, and nuts (if using).
  8. Scoop the dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  9. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a vegan version, replace eggs with flax eggs and use plant-based butter.
