Description
A creamy, layered dessert featuring sweetened cream cheese and fresh berries, perfect for summer celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 package of graham crackers
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. You should have a sandy mixture that holds together when pressed.
- Press and bake: Take the crust mixture and firmly press it into the bottom of an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool completely before adding the filling.
- Cream the goodness: In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in your powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped cream: Gently fold in the whipped cream to your cream cheese mixture until combined.
- Layer it all together: Once your graham cracker crust is completely cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
- Top with berries: Arrange sliced strawberries and blueberries over the cream cheese layer.
- Chill and serve: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
