Description

A creamy and spicy pasta dish featuring rigatoni, burrata, and a rich tomato sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add your rigatoni and cook until al dente.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Drain the pasta, reserving some pasta water, and add it to the skillet. Toss together.
  5. Remove from heat and place burrata in the center. Let it sit to swirl into the pasta.
  6. Finish with freshly torn basil leaves and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, you can drizzle some high-quality olive oil on top when serving. Consider pairing with garlic bread or a salad.
