- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water. Add your rigatoni and cook until al dente.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Drain the pasta, reserving some pasta water, and add it to the skillet. Toss together.
- Remove from heat and place burrata in the center. Let it sit to swirl into the pasta.
- Finish with freshly torn basil leaves and serve.
Notes
For added flavor, you can drizzle some high-quality olive oil on top when serving. Consider pairing with garlic bread or a salad.
