Description
Juicy turkey wings enveloped in rich, savory gravy, perfect for a family dinner or a cozy night in.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4–5 Turkey Wing Portions (cut in half, 8–10 total)
- 1 tbsp All-Purpose Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Poultry Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Celery Salt
- 1 tsp Ground Mustard
- 1 Large Onion (sliced)
- 1 Green Bell Pepper (sliced)
- 1 Red Bell Pepper (sliced)
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter (sliced thinly)
- 2 tsp Avocado Oil
Instructions
- Prep the turkey wings by rinsing them under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel.
- Season generously with a mix of all-purpose seasoning, poultry seasoning, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, celery salt, and ground mustard. Let them sit for 15-30 minutes.
- Sear the wings in avocado oil over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Cook the veggies by sautéing the onion and bell peppers in the same skillet for 5-7 minutes.
- Create the sauce by returning the wings to the skillet, adding butter and a splash of water or chicken broth.
- Simmer on low, covered, for 45-60 minutes until the wings are tender.
- Final touches include adjusting seasoning and uncovering for the last 10-15 minutes if a thicker sauce is desired.
- Serve the turkey wings on a platter, smothered in gravy, garnished with fresh herbs.
