- 1 cup sloppy joe sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package refrigerated garlic biscuits (like Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the beef in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, then stir in the sloppy joe sauce.
- Stir in ½ cup of cheddar cheese and remove from heat.
- Prep the biscuits by cutting each into quarters.
- Assemble the casserole by topping the beef mixture with the quartered biscuits.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
This dish can be made ahead of time and baked when ready. Freezing is an option too.
