- 2 cups egg noodles (uncooked)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- ½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon (about 6 slices)
- ½ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water for 6-8 minutes until al dente, then drain.
- Combine shredded chicken, cooked noodles, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbling and golden, adding a broil for the last 2-3 minutes if desired.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
