Instructions
- Prep the chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat the pan: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Sear the chicken: Place seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on one side.
- Flip the chicken: Turn the chicken and reduce heat to medium, cook for another 5-7 minutes.
- Remove and rest: Take the chicken out and let it rest covered loosely with foil.
- Create the sauce: In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Add the cream: Pour heavy cream into the pan, stirring and letting it simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in basil: Add chopped basil and season with salt and pepper.
- Combine and serve: Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and heat through for a minute.
