  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup (50 g) shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese, melted butter, and milk in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and whisk until fully incorporated.
  4. Incorporate the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and black pepper, folding gently.
  5. Introduce the whole kernel corn and cream-style corn into the batter.
  6. Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
