- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup (50 g) shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the softened cream cheese, melted butter, and milk in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add the egg and whisk until fully incorporated.
- Incorporate the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and black pepper, folding gently.
- Introduce the whole kernel corn and cream-style corn into the batter.
- Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
- Pour the corn mixture into the greased dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top if desired.
