- ¼ cup (60 g) unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup (120 ml) whole milk
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup (65 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup (50 g) shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the softened cream cheese, melted butter, and milk in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the large egg and whisk until fully incorporated.
- Incorporate the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Introduce the whole kernel corn and cream-style corn to the mixture.
- Prepare a 9×9-inch baking dish by greasing it lightly.
- Pour the corn mixture into the greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top if using.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
