Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grab a 9×13 inch baking dish and lightly grease it.
  3. Beat the cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Dollop the cream cheese mixture into the baking dish and spread it out.
  5. Pour the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the cherries.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
  8. Optional: Sprinkle pecans on top.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  10. Cool for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
