Description

A fun, handheld meal that captures all the classic flavors of a cheeseburger in a delightful pastry pocket—perfect for weeknight dinners or game day gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Mix in the ketchup and mustard, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and add in the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted.
  5. Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it flat, pinching seams together to form rectangles.
  6. Take a dollop of the beef and cheese mixture and place it in the center of each rectangle.
  7. Fold the dough over to create pockets and press the seams together to seal.
  8. Place the pockets on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
