- 2 cups Cooked Chicken, Shredded
- 1 cup Pesto Sauce
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Fresh Basil for Garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of the pasta water before draining.
- Create the Creamy Pesto Sauce: In a large pan over medium heat, combine the pesto sauce and heavy cream. Stir until heated through, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
- Add the Chicken: Toss in the shredded cooked chicken and stir well, sautéing for about 3-5 minutes.
- Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the drained pasta into the sauce and gently fold to combine. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
- Season to Taste: Add salt and pepper to taste as desired.
- Serve It Up: Plate the pasta, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil.
Notes
Feel free to add sautéed vegetables or switch up the protein as desired. This recipe also allows for variations like spicy additions or different types of pesto.
