Description

Delightful and colorful jello cups perfect for summer gatherings and Fourth of July celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 box blue jello (3oz box)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 packets unflavored gelatin
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14oz)
  • 1 box red jello (3oz box)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the blue jello powder with 1 cup of boiling water until fully dissolved.
  2. Add 1 cup of cold water to the blue jello mixture and gently mix.
  3. Pour the blue jello mixture into clear cups, filling them about one-third full. Chill until set (1-2 hours).
  4. Sprinkle 2 packets of unflavored gelatin over ½ cup of cold water in a small bowl and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to bloom.
  5. Heat 1 cup of boiling water in a medium saucepan, remove from heat and whisk in the bloomed gelatin until dissolved. Stir in sweetened condensed milk.
  6. Pour the creamy gelatin mixture on top of the blue layer, filling the cups about one-third of the way. Chill until set (1-2 hours).
  7. Mix the red jello powder with 1 cup of boiling water. Add 1 cup of cold water once dissolved.
  8. Pour the red jello mixture on top of the white layer, filling the cups to the top. Chill until set (1-2 hours).
  9. Top each cup with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with red, white, and blue sprinkles before serving.

Notes

Ensure each layer is completely set before pouring the next for distinct layers.
