Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 6 tablespoons pumpkin purée
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Soften the butter by ensuring it is at room temperature. Use a microwave for a few seconds if needed.
  2. Whip the butter in a mixing bowl until fluffy and light.
  3. Add the spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, cloves) and continue mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Incorporate the pumpkin purée, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract into the bowl.
  5. Mix everything together on medium speed until fluffy and well combined.
  6. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or spice levels as desired.
  7. Transfer the whipped butter into an airtight container for storage.

Notes
