Description

A refreshing iced tea infused with the sweetness of fresh peaches and a hint of mint, perfect for summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups brewed black tea
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar (to taste)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew the tea by boiling 4 cups of water, removing it from heat, adding 4 tea bags, and steeping for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Prepare the peaches by washing and slicing them into thin wedges.
  3. Combine the brewed tea with sugar while it is warm to dissolve it easily.
  4. Add the sliced peaches and 2 cups of cold water to the tea mixture.
  5. Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least an hour or pour it over ice to cool it quickly.
  6. Serve the chilled tea in tall glasses filled with ice and garnish with mint leaves and peach slices.

Notes

This tea can be made ahead of time and tastes even better the next day as the flavors meld.
