- 6–8 medium Fresh Peaches
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the peaches by peeling and slicing them. Toss with 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
- Make the batter by whisking together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Then add milk and melted butter.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Add the peach mixture on top of the batter without stirring.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of peach juice for an unforgettable treat.
