Delightfully moist blondies infused with warm fall flavors from sweet apples and rich maple glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 large apples (chopped finely)
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures until just combined.
- Prepare the apples by sautéing them in butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until softened.
- Fold the sautéed apples into the batter.
- Spread the batter in the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let them cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes.
- Make the glaze by whisking maple syrup, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Glaze the cooled blondies.
Notes
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
