- 1 cup pizza dough
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare your pizza dough by letting it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle that’s about ¼ inch thick.
- Spread the ricotta cheese across the dough, leaving a small border. Top with mozzarella and pepperoni slices.
- Season the toppings evenly with Italian seasoning.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting from one longer side.
- Slice the log into 1-inch thick rolls and place cut side up on a lined baking sheet.
- Egg wash the tops of each roll with a beaten egg.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
