Ingredients

  • 1 cup pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare your pizza dough by letting it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle that’s about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Spread the ricotta cheese across the dough, leaving a small border. Top with mozzarella and pepperoni slices.
  5. Season the toppings evenly with Italian seasoning.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log, starting from one longer side.
  7. Slice the log into 1-inch thick rolls and place cut side up on a lined baking sheet.
  8. Egg wash the tops of each roll with a beaten egg.
  9. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
