Ingredients

  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 head of lettuce (Butter or Iceberg for wrapping)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Brown the ground beef for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about a minute.
  4. Stir in the diced bell peppers and shredded carrots, cooking for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Season with soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar, allowing it to simmer for a couple of minutes.
  6. Prepare the lettuce leaves for wrapping.
  7. Assemble the wraps by spooning the beef mixture into the lettuce leaves.
  8. Garnish and serve with additional toppings if desired.
