- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
- 2 ripe avocados, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 4 large lettuce leaves (romaine or green leaf)
- 4 large tortillas or wraps
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Prep the chicken: Season your chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Slice into strips.
- Whip up the sauce: In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lime juice. Season to taste.
- Cook the bacon: Fry bacon until crispy, either in the skillet or using the oven method.
- Assemble each wrap: Spread sauce on tortilla, layer chicken, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, and lettuce.
- Wrap it up: Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly from the bottom.
- Grill for extra flavor, if desired, for a minute on each side.
- Serve and enjoy: Cut wraps in half and serve with extra sauce on the side.
Notes
For variations, try adding jalapeños for spice or feta cheese for a Mediterranean twist. Wraps can be stored in the fridge for up to two days without sauce.
