Description

Soft, pillowy dinner rolls infused with garlicky goodness, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 5 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 45 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Optional: Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by pouring warm water into a mixing bowl, sprinkling sugar over it, then adding yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Combine the flour and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Mix the melted butter into the yeast mixture, then combine with the flour mixture to form a rough dough.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. First rise: Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled (about 1 hour).
  6. Shape the rolls by dividing the dough into 12 portions and rolling each into a ball, placing them in a greased dish.
  7. Second rise: Cover and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Make the garlic butter by melting remaining butter and stirring in minced garlic.
  10. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Finish with toppings: sprinkle with parsley and sea salt before serving.
  12. Cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Also delicious with marinara for dipping.
