Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Gradually mix in the warm milk and softened butter.
  2. Add the Egg: Beat in the egg until smooth and well-combined.
  3. Knead: Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour.
  5. Make the Filling: Mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl until combined.
  6. Shape the Bites: Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar filling.
