Iced Pineapple Mint Green Tea

Description

A refreshing iced beverage combining pineapple, mint, and green tea, perfect for summer days.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 4 organic green tea bags
  • 3 sprigs of fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple juice
  • Juice of 1 lime or lemon

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a large pot or kettle. Once it reaches a rolling boil, remove it from the heat.
  2. Steep the tea bags in the hot water for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the sprigs of fresh mint to the tea and let them steep for an extra 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the honey while the tea is still warm.
  5. Mix in the pineapple juice and the juice of the lime or lemon.
  6. Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least an hour.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with extra mint or a slice of pineapple.

Notes

This drink can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge. Adjust the sweetness by adding more lime or lemon juice as needed.
