Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare your peppers by rinsing them, slicing off the tops, and removing seeds and membranes.
- Sauté onions in olive oil until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and seasonal veggies; sauté for another 5-7 minutes.
- Mix in your chosen protein and cook until browned (if using meat).
- Season with salt, black pepper, and herbs to taste.
- Optional: Add broth or cream if mixture seems dry.
- Stuff each pepper with filling, packing lightly.
- Bake in a baking dish covered with foil for 30 minutes; remove foil for the last 10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh herbs or cheese before serving.
