Description

Rich, fudgy, and utterly chocolatey flourless brownies made with ripe bananas and peanut butter.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup or Honey
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the peanut butter and mix until well combined.
  4. Sweeten the mixture with maple syrup (or honey) and a pinch of salt; stir well.
  5. Incorporate the cocoa powder and baking powder until the batter is smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Can freeze for three months.
