Description

A comforting crockpot casserole that combines hearty pierogies, savory kielbasa, and a creamy broth for a homey meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen Cheddar Pierogies
  • 4 cups Creamy Chicken Broth (or vegetable broth)
  • 1 lb Kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 Onion, diced (optional)
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Gather all your ingredients for smoother cooking.
  2. Layer the bottom of the crockpot with frozen cheddar pierogies.
  3. Add the sliced kielbasa over the pierogies.
  4. Sprinkle diced onion and minced garlic over the kielbasa.
  5. Pour in the creamy chicken broth over the layers.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and stir gently.
  7. Add half of the cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  9. Finish with the remaining cheddar cheese 15 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or chives. Serve alongside a green salad or steamed veggies.
