Description

Deliciously irresistible homemade cheese crackers that are easy to make and perfect for any snack time.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 12 tablespoons cold water (if needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, salt, garlic powder, and paprika (if using).
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese, making sure it is well-coated.
  5. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  6. Mix in cold water as needed until a dough forms.
  7. Roll out the dough to about 1/8-inch thickness on a floured surface.
  8. Cut into shapes and poke holes in the center of each cracker.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
