- 4 ounces dark chocolate
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Melt the butter and dark chocolate in a saucepan over low heat.
- Combine the melted butter and chocolate with granulated sugar and brown sugar.
- Mix in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Fold in the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, salt, and cornstarch.
- Add the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using almond milk. You can also substitute the eggs with flax eggs for a vegan option.
