Description

A hearty and comforting casserole with layers of seasoned ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, sweet corn, and cheesy goodness topped with crispy tater tots.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Mix in the cream of mushroom soup and milk, adding the garlic and onion powders.
  4. Add the drained corn to the mixture.
  5. Combine in 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese.
  6. Assemble the mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  7. Top with tater tots in a single layer.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
  9. Garnish with remaining cheese and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
