  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the brownie base by whisking together melted butter and granulated sugar.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  4. Incorporate the dry ingredients (cocoa powder, flour, salt) until just combined.
  5. Pour brownie batter into a greased mini muffin pan, filling 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for about 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  7. Cool the brownie bites for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Prepare the cookie dough by beating softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  9. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  10. Add the flour and salt, stirring until blended.
  11. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  12. Top cooled brownies with flattened cookie dough pieces.
  13. Final bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  14. Cool again on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with almond flour.
