Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the brownie base by whisking together melted butter and granulated sugar.
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients (cocoa powder, flour, salt) until just combined.
- Pour brownie batter into a greased mini muffin pan, filling 2/3 full.
- Bake for about 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Cool the brownie bites for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Prepare the cookie dough by beating softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Mix in the milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the flour and salt, stirring until blended.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Top cooled brownies with flattened cookie dough pieces.
- Final bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Cool again on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with almond flour.
