- Poppy seed packet (included)
- 1 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the muffin mix, poppy seed packet, water, and egg in a large bowl until combined.
- Fold in the cherry pie filling gently.
- Prepare a 9×5 inch loaf pan by greasing it lightly.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for about 40-45 minutes; start checking at 35 minutes with a toothpick.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Slice and serve once cooled.
Notes
For extra crunch, sprinkle some poppy seeds on top before baking. Use fresh cherries for a lighter fruit flavor.
