- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup French onion dip
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add about a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the diced onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add ground beef to the skillet with the onions. Break it apart and cook until browned, about 8–10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in the egg noodles, beef broth, and French onion dip until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let sit for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or chives. This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
