Ingredients

- 1 cup Cooked Couscous
- 1 cup Yogurt
- Fresh Fruit (berries, bananas, oranges, etc.)
- Nuts (or seeds)
- Honey or Maple Syrup (optional)
- Cinnamon or Nutmeg (optional)
- Chia Seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 1 cup of water or broth to a boil and add 1 cup of couscous, cover it, and remove from heat. Let it sit for 5 minutes to absorb the liquid.
- Fluff the couscous with a fork and drizzle in olive oil or sprinkle salt if desired.
- In a bowl, add your yogurt and sweeten it with honey or maple syrup if using plain.
- Wash and chop your fruits for garnishing.
- Layer a scoop of couscous in a bowl, followed by yogurt and top with fruit and nuts.
- Drizzle honey or maple syrup and sprinkle chia seeds or nutmeg to finish.
Notes
Feel free to substitute couscous with quinoa or rice for a gluten-free option. Make this recipe your own by adding seasonal fruits and toppings.
