Description

A delightful treat combining sweet cherries with rum and white chocolate for a fun twist on dessert cocktails.


Ingredients

  • 2 Large Jars of Maraschino Cherries (with Stems, 3033 count)
  • 1 package of Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1/2 cup of Malibu Rum
  • Bright Blue Sanding Sugar

Instructions

  1. Begin by carefully draining your maraschino cherries and placing them on a paper towel.
  2. Place the drained cherries in a bowl and pour the rum over them, covering the bowl with plastic wrap.
  3. Melt the Ghirardelli white chocolate in a microwave-safe dish in short bursts.
  4. Take each rum-soaked cherry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate until fully coated.
  5. While the chocolate is wet, sprinkle the bright blue sanding sugar on top of each cherry.
  6. Place the baking sheet in your refrigerator for about 30-45 minutes to let the chocolate harden.
