Description

Delightful cherry bombs soaked in rum and dipped in creamy white chocolate for a fun twist on dessert cocktails.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Large Jars of Maraschino Cherries (with Stems, 3033 count)
  • 1 package of Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1/2 cup of Malibu Rum
  • Bright Blue Sanding Sugar

Instructions

  1. Drain the maraschino cherries and place them on a paper towel.
  2. Soak the cherries in a bowl with 1/2 cup of Malibu Rum for at least 2 hours.
  3. Melt the white chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe dish in short bursts.
  4. Dip each rum-soaked cherry into the melted chocolate until fully coated.
  5. Sprinkle sanding sugar on each cherry while the chocolate is wet.
  6. Chill the cherries in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes until chocolate is hardened.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge. These can be made ahead of time.
