Description

A flavorful twist on the classic Big Mac, all wrapped up and easy to enjoy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 or lean)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • ¼ cup diced onion
  • ¼ cup sliced dill pickles
  • 4 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas (or low-carb wraps)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • Pinch of paprika
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Shredded cheddar (optional)
  • Sliced jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ground beef. Use a spatula to break it into smaller chunks. Season with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Create the Special Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Warm the Tortillas: Heat each tortilla over medium heat for about 30 seconds per side until warm and pliable.
  4. Assemble Your Wraps: Lay a warm tortilla on a flat surface. Spread a couple of tablespoons of the special sauce over the center. Add a portion of the cooked beef followed by lettuce, diced onions, pickles, and a slice of cheese.
  5. Roll It Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up from the bottom, tucking in the filling as you go.
  6. Toast the Wraps (Optional): For an extra touch, return the skillet to medium heat, and place the wrap seam-side down. Toast each side for about 2 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Feel free to customize with additional toppings like crispy bacon or make it plant-based with a portobello mushroom.
