- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking pan.
- Bake the crust for 8 minutes.
- Beat the softened cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add 1 cup of sugar, vanilla extract, and the eggs, mixing well.
- Fold in diced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust and swirl half of the caramel sauce into the mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Slice into squares and drizzle with more caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
For an indulgent treat, serve warm with vanilla ice cream or sprinkle with toasted nuts.
