Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 8 minutes.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add 1 cup of sugar, vanilla extract, and the eggs, mixing well.
  5. Fold in diced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  6. Pour the filling over the baked crust and swirl half of the caramel sauce into the mixture.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are set.
  8. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  9. Slice into squares and drizzle with more caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

For an indulgent treat, serve warm with vanilla ice cream or sprinkle with toasted nuts.
