Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes.
  5. Beat the softened cream cheese until creamy in a large bowl.
  6. Gradually add in 1 cup of sugar and mix until combined.
  7. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing well after each addition.
  8. Fold in the diced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  9. Pour the filling over the baked crust and drizzle half of the caramel sauce on top.
  10. Bake the whole pan for 30-35 minutes or until edges are set.
  11. Cool down to room temperature and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  12. Slice into squares and drizzle with more caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

For a creamy texture, ensure cream cheese is softened. Let bars cool completely for easier slicing.
